DEVELOPING HANDLING SKILLS BOOK - We follow Linda Mecklenburg's handling skills guide at HYK9s. We highly recommend you add this book to your library!

RECOMMENDED VIEWING

AWESOME PAWS FOUNDATION HANDLING VIDEO - We try our best to pack as much handling information as possible into the teaching we do here but this video is Linda Mecklenburg presenting her Awesome Paws Handling System. Another MUST-SEE for any student wishing to learn more about a motion-based handling system.

CRATE GAMES - Susan Garrett's Crate Games DVD is an excellent program for dogs needing control!

MY FAVORITE AGILITY EQUIPMENT (please tell them we sent you!)

ARFF AND RUNNING - We buy all of our PVC equipment (all red white and blue of course) from Laura at Arff and Running. If it's made out of PVC we get it from them! Our single jumps, double, triple, tire, chute, panel and broad jump are all from Laura. They are a local company in Maine.

M.A.D. AGILITY -  We own their dogwalk and rubberized teeter. We also own an interchangeable rubber ramp for our dogwalk and our table, 22" and 24" competition weave poles are from them as well. They will also sell individual ramps for their dogwalk which we recommend here in our training program once you get beyond the basic board stage. M.A.D. Agility is another local, family run company located in Pennsylvania.

TUFF MUTT WEAVE POLE GUIDES - We use TuffMutt weave guides in our weave pole training program. Ours basically sit outside all year round and we snap and unsnap then HUNDREDS of times. We are still using the first set we bought over a year ago.
